I am a Ba writing graduate of Dartington university. I have been teaching English as a second/foreign language for over five years now. I have extensive experience teaching all ages and abilities as well as preparing learners for IELTS, TOEFL and FCE. I hold a Trinity CertTESOL from the International House, Bristol and am currently studying for my DELTA qualification

Communication is key to learning a language. Whilst exact grammar and things like spelling are important, it's no use unless you can actually speak and use the language you are learning to communicate effectively. My methodology is based on the CEFR (common European framework) and is heavily based on learning through discussion. Many lessons follow a basic format of- vocabulary input, a reading or listening task, follow up questions related to the topic and vocabulary set. Grammar structures will naturally appear through our lessons and will be addressed when necessary. However, this is your lesson, time and money so the lessons are completely adaptable to your needs.
