About Ashwini

Having a tutor by my side during GCSE and A Levels helped me massively into getting into one of the best universities in the UK (Queen Mary University of London). As an individual who has been educated in a comprehensive school, my biggest achievement yet has been getting into QMUL and being predicted a 1st class in my degree. During my first two years at university, I was fortunate enough to work as a part-time tutor at Explore Learning where I taught Maths, English and 11+ preparation for children from ages 5 - 16. On top of this, I also taught GCSE Mathematics at a secondary school near my university at an after school support club. Throughout the 2 years, I have received compliments and heart felt messages from my students and their parents. From this experience, I strongly believe that I can motivate and be a helping hand to students getting through GCSE and A Levels. This academic year, I am an accounts assistant at SRLV as part of my undergraduate placement. On the side, I also tutor a 6 year old girl Mathematics and French.

If you are interested in a tutor who has experience of teaching Maths from Primary School level to GCSE level with an engaging and supportive approach, then please contact me. My aim is to ensure that each student reaches their full potential with lessons that are well delivered and rewarding.

About the lesson

I can teach both online and face to face. I will start with a trial lesson to get to know the student and identify the areas that needs focus. For more mature exam focused students, I would advise them to let me know of the exam board that they are taking in advance of the lesson. Upon the first lesson, the student and I will talk about the topics that they need help on. I will also share my experience of preparing for exams and work ethic techniques to ensure that the student can reach their goal.
