About Andrea
I’m an undergraduate student at Concordia University studying Pure and Applied Mathematics. I have always excelled at math and science courses and would love to help you excel as well. I have been tutoring math and science (including physics and chemistry) for elementary and high school students since 2020. I have also tutored cégep level Mathematics such as Cal 1. I’ve worked in a tutoring center offering group tutoring to kids of all ages so I have a lot of experience working with different people at different levels. I have also worked for John Abbott College as a Cal 1 tutor as part of their TAP program. I’m always available to help students with any homework they need help with. I can teach in English or Spanish, but I also understand French. I would love to help you understand one of my favorite subjects and help you see how fun math can be! My goal is to make sure the student fully understands the course material by creating a safe and positive environment where they can ask all the questions they have so they leave the tutoring session with no doubts. I believe everyone is capable of understanding any math concept, easy or difficult. Therefore, I always try to provide different angles on a problem to see what resonates most with the student. I also take the time to review the material as many times as necessary until the student fully understands it.
