Hi there!
I’m a published writer, digital strategist, and more recently a teacher. Being informed and able to express ourselves creatively is incredibly important to me and is why I’m a teacher. I want to help give students the confidence and skills to enjoy reading, writing, and critical thinking.

I tailor my approach to each student - working within the assessment criteria while finding the angle that genuinely engages them. I’m particularly interested in drawing out what a student loves and using that as a way in.
I offer flexible lesson lengths, typically around an hour. I work with primary and secondary age students with a particular focus on English - reading, writing, and literature.
I have one year of tutoring experience and currently volunteer as an English tutor for young people from low-income backgrounds. I also run a children’s book club at a local youth centre.
