As a Navy veteran and life long writer and student. I publish a column about US History and current events. The ability to effectively communicate through written language is what separates the average person from the exceptional. I have applied writing to every aspect of every job I’ve held since adolescence. The importance of clarity and continuity in writing is paramount. Using literary devices and a little bit of alliteration can turn your dull paper into a colorful mental painting for your reader.
