About Kate
I am a full-time historical fiction author with a multi-book publishing contract. I have written seven full-length novels and several short stories. I have been writing fiction professionally since 2018, with multiple trainings and classes to hone my craft.
In nonfiction, I worked for over twenty years in environmental policy at the government and nonprofit level. I was a top blogger for a nonprofit for over a decade and also wrote numerous research and white papers and journal articles. Since 2019, I have worked as a freelance reporter for online publications.
I have an undergraduate degree in history and two graduate degrees in political science/international relations.

I can work with high school, college, and beyond for crafting stories either for fiction or nonfiction.
I have an undergraduate degree in history and two graduate degrees in political science/international relations. I have published blogs for a nonprofit organization, articles for professional publications, research and white papers, and journal articles. In fiction, my first novel will be released through my publisher later this year.
I am happy to work on whatever component of creative/essay writing is needed, from ideas to outlining, structure to story, grammar to editing/proofreading. I believe the teaching method should fit the student.
