Teaching methodology:
First, I like to begin by asking what you need as a writer. What gives you the most difficulty? Do you struggle with thesis statements? Do you need help with organization? If you are a creative writer, do you need help getting inspiration for poems or stories? Then I design lesson plans to address your needs.
What sets me apart as a tutor?
-I taught first-year composition and creative writing for over fifteen years at the college level. My writing skills have helped me publish work in literary journals. Finally, I am passionate about the possibilities of language, and I am confident I can demystify the writing process.
