I sought out Jack's instruction because I noticed that our son -- though he had great ideas -- couldn't express them publicly in a way that others could understand or appreciate. The impact of Jack's lessons have been obvious: our son now maintains eye contact when interacting with adults, speaks audibly and with good enunciation, and has a deepened love of language and literature. As his mother it means the world to me that he now genuinely enjoys holding conversation with other people, and feels confident in expressing his thoughts. Initially I was very nervous about what an instructor could possibly do in an hour-long 1-to-1 session with a 7 year old -- I couldn't imagine how the time could be both productively and enjoyably spent. But Jack clearly understands children and has all the qualities of a gifted teacher: Jack comes to each session well prepared, he is punctual and reliable, the lessons are well structured, appropriate to age, consistent, and fun, both online and in person. Most importantly, Jack has become a mentor/role model for my son: Jack has an admirable outlook on life, and my son's confidence has increased because Jack is really easy to talk to and listens to him as if his thoughts were the most important in the world. After every session my son is in high spirits, having felt affirmed and knowing his opinions have mattered to someone. My son has declared on his own initiative on a number of occasions, "I really love my classes with Jack". It's very rare to come across an instructor as qualified, competent, thoughtful, attentive, sensitive, and affable as Jack.

Jack has been my go to tutor when it comes to acting lessons. What started off as a way for me to just become a more confident speaker has resulted in me going full time as a voice actor and Jack hads been a big part of that.
