About Julien
My communication skills stem from diverse experiences. From a young age, I navigated contrasting environments: studying at a top British boarding school from 11 - 18 through a charity programme, contrasting with home life in one of South London's most impoverished and dangerous areas. This duality honed my ability to adjust and connect across varied settings, further enriched by my professional roles ranging from the head of marketing for a consultancy in Santiago, Chile, teaching chair aerobics at a retirement home, to conducting workshops in underperforming schools or working on a building site. In my coaching, I leverage these skills to forge strong connections with each student, customising each lesson to your unique needs. This approach will not only keep you engaged during our sessions but also empower you to apply your knowledge and skills well beyond our classes.

At school we spend years practising reading and writing but never speaking and now public speaking is often cited as one of people's biggest fears. Learning how to communicate effectively can change your life because opportunity is often born out of conversation. I am a seasoned speaker specialising in social mobility and education. I've had a few communication coaches before but Julien's system worked best for me because he didn't try to turn me into someone I'm not.
In the past, I've had senior execs trying to teach me bravado and 'presence' but all I needed was someone to close the gap between my skillset and my ability to communicate it.
