About Aleksandra Eriksen

I have a Ph.d, degree in psychology from the University of St Andrews and have extensive experience in employing scientific methods, quantitative methods, and data analysis using SPSS in my own research.

I have also worked as a teaching assistant and tutor at the University of St Andrews for 3 years, where I taught research methods and data analysis using SPSS to bachelor level university students.

About the lesson

My teaching is typically interactive and practical and may include methods such as running through data analyzes in SPSS, discussing research papers, or discussing other relevant questions together with my students. I might also use quizzes or other assessments and assignments to enhance learning. However, as I like my teaching to be student centered, my teaching methods will also depend on the needs of my students.

I can teach in English or Norwegian / Danish, online or in person in Aarhus / Viby J .

Examples of topics that I can teach in include:

- Data analysis in SPSS (data plotting, descriptive statistics, correlation, regression, t-tests, ANOVA, mediation, multilevel modeling, PROCESS macro, etc.)

- Online questionnaires and experimental software such as Qualtrics and Gorilla

- Research designs (experimental, naturalistic, interventions, etc.)

- Basics of the scientific method
