About Monee

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Mental Health from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master of Science in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University, where I graduated with distinction.

I am also a North Carolina certified Criminal Justice General Instructor with experience teaching adult learners in professional and classroom settings.

My professional background includes nearly a decade in law enforcement, where I currently serve as a civilian Crime Analyst. My work involves analyzing information, conducting investigative research, identifying patterns in human behavior, and communicating complex findings in ways that others can understand and apply.

My academic interests include human behavior, mental health, developmental psychology, trauma, and the ways our experiences influence how we think, feel, and interact with the world.

I understand that psychology can sometimes feel overwhelming, particularly when students encounter unfamiliar theories, terminology, and research concepts. I enjoy breaking complicated subjects into understandable pieces and connecting classroom material to practical, everyday situations.

I believe learning should be encouraging, engaging, and respectful of each student's individual learning style. My goal is to help students build both their knowledge and their confidence as they explore the fascinating field of psychology.

About the lesson

Psychology is the study of human behavior, thoughts, and emotions, and I believe understanding these concepts should be engaging, practical, and accessible.

My online psychology lessons are designed to help high school students, undergraduate college students, and adult learners better understand psychological theories, terminology, and their applications in everyday life.

I take a personalized, encouraging approach to teaching. Each session begins with identifying the student's learning goals, reviewing challenging concepts, and developing a plan for improving understanding and confidence.

Depending on individual needs, lessons may include discussions, real-world examples, study strategies, concept reviews, and practice questions to reinforce learning.

Topics may include introductory psychology, human development, personality, social psychology, mental health concepts, and the relationship between behavior and the environment.

With a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a master's degree in Human Services Counseling, and experience as a certified instructor, I bring both academic knowledge and practical teaching experience to my lessons.

My goal is not simply to help students prepare for their next exam, but to help them develop a meaningful understanding of psychology that extends beyond the classroom.
