About Clara May

I am Clara May Riley, 25 years old and a registered Psychometrician by profession. I graduated college last April 2017 with the degree of Psychology at St. Scholastica's College Tacloban. I am currently taking up my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology at St. Scholastica's College Manila and so far I am now on my sophomore year.

After passing the licensure exam, I immediately took the offer of my alma mater to teach General Education subject and Psychology. I was employed for 1 year and 6 months. Truly I must say that teaching is a huge part of my life. It was not my profession but the satisfaction of inspiring and imparting knowledge to young learners is undeniable. There is joy in being able to share your knowledge to students who thirst for new knowledge. Somehow, it became a passion and it became one of the most memorable experience I have ever had in my career.

That's the reason why I keep coming back and I would definitely go back to teaching as soon as I finish my degree. I wanted to affiliate myself in a teaching institution to inspire young learners to follow their passion and tom impart their knowledge to the succeeding generations as well.

I am currently in the Human Resources and have been in the industry for 2 years. I conduct interviews, recruitment, sourcing and screening for applicants fit for the position that our company requires. In the near future I wish to shift and practice my profession in the field of health care and be an active advocate for mental health

About the lesson

My goal is to establish a solid teacher-student relationship even at the comfort of the learner's home, and as much as possible applying creativity in teaching through providing activities with inputs the student can learn from

The lesson will be an hour at most but may exceed if necessary. I have been an instructor for one (1) year and 6 months in the year 2018-2019 under General Education where I taught Understanding the Self for freshmen students from college. I was also a Psychology Instructor who taught General Psychology, Social Psychology, Biological Psychology and Current Trends in Psychology.

My lessons covers college students ages 17-23 and students from gradeschool (4-6) roughly around 10-12 years old.
