About Andreja
I am a Psychology for Education Professionals student at the university of Birkbeck. I have previously been enrolled in the English Literature and Creative Writing BA course at Portsmouth University. I have been working with children in an education setting for most of my time in employment. While completing my own GCSE's I was a supervisor at a KUMON centre in North London, overseeing students preparing for both GCSE and A-Level exams. In the last year I have been working as a TA in a comprehensive primary school located in Edmonton, where I spent most of my time supporting students in KS1 with their phonics and students in year 6 preparing for their SATs examinations. My own interests lie in creative writing and in the transformative power of words. I have seen with my own eyes the joy and pure power that comes with a mastery of language in students. For this reason I had established an after school creative writing/reading aloud club in the school where I have been situated.

My teaching method is entirely dependant on the student with whom I am working with. As a psychology student I am well aware of how individuals differences in students must be acknowledged in order to promote healthy learning habits. I primarily aim to support students preparing for GCSE's and A-Levels, however I am more than happy to work with those preparing for their SATs, or even preparing for University entry.
