About Maria
Hi! I’m Maria, a dedicated Psychology and Sociology student at Toronto Metropolitan University with a passion for understanding the "why" behind human behavior and social systems. My academic journey is built on a foundation of rigorous research and professional ethics, including being TCPS2 certified in ethical research and maintaining a deep focus on behavioral statistics and quantitative methods. Beyond the classroom, I’ve spent my time designing digital mental health tools and developing prototypes based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which allows me to bring a unique, "real-world" perspective to our sessions. I’m not just here to help you memorize facts, I’m here to share the same evidence-based strategies and organizational frameworks I use in the lab to help you navigate your own academic workload with confidence.
