About Selen
I have range of experience in research with children and young people with difficulties including chronic stress, trauma history, learning disabilities, body image or mental health issues. I have been tutoring for 2 years to support people with academic writing in the field of social sciences.
I am currently a research associate exploring children and young people’s cognitive and developmental skills such as emotional competency and executive functions. I am also running my own business of wellbeing/counselling services. I have worked in different research roles at local authority's educational psychology service, universities and stress management research centres.

I am a psychologist and currently completing my doctorate. My expertise in health psychology allows me to structure behaviour efficiently and help my students develop organizational and academic skills.
I provide academic writing support for essays, courseworks and dissertation for GCSE and university students as well as teaching younger children with effective learning strategies. In regular tutorials, I provide mentoring, meaning that my students can always reach out when they feel stuck at something.
