About the lesson

My statistics course serves as an introduction to the basic concepts and tools in statistics and probability. I will
begin with a study of descriptive statistics, including the appropriate elements of probability theory, and culminate with the fundamental concepts of statistical inference. Students should emerge from this course with the ability to incorporate a variety of skills in analyzing and interpreting data. The teaching logic is inspired by STAT 115 of Boston University. This class is great for students who want to have a systematic understanding of statistics and probability.

Apart from specializing in statistics, I also offer comprehensive training in SAT Math. My approach to tutoring is adaptable and student-centered, meaning I can tailor the content specifically to your unique needs and areas of concern, no matter concept focuses or problem-solving-focused.

Perfect! Before working with Philip, I struggled a lot with my coursework. The material was challenging, and I found myself constantly falling behind. That all changed when I had my first tutor session with Philip. What stands out the most to me is his incredible patience. I remember one session where I was struggling with a particular concept. Instead of moving forward, Philip patiently worked with me, employing various methods and examples until it finally clicked. I had never experienced that level of dedication with a teacher before. The results speak for themselves. After a series of sessions with Philip, I passed my exams and scored a perfect 100 on my final! When I first came to him - I was worried and overwhelmed in regards to the conceptual understanding of the class material. By the time I took my tutoring lessons with Philip - I left the class with a comprehensive and deep understanding of the concepts. I ended up scoring an 98% in the entire class for the semester thanks to Philips help.
