About Maarten

My name is Maarten Bakkers (17 years old), I have been teaching math and physics since my thirteenth birthday. When I was 15 I finished calculus (all parts) in a program of The University of Pennsylvania (Ivy Leaugue). Since then I have been researching non-linear PDEs and complex function theory. I have currently discovered 5 new formulas (including a new definition of the Riemann Zeta function). I have also regularly helped with making the tests for our high school and I therefore have a lot of insight into what test-worthy exercises are. Above all is that I really enjoy tutoring and that I will never stop finding ways to explain something, every question can be asked! I always try to make a fun but especially educational lesson. I expect serious commitment as I always want to get the most out of my tutoring clients.

About the lesson

I think it is extremely important that my clients know and understand why and how certain things work. That is why I will always explain material myself that is often not described in the book, but which is essential for understanding the material. Very often tutor clients are not motivated because they do not see the applications of those "useless equations", therefore I always give examples of applications of the study matter. At the end of a certain topic I always have self-made assignments ready to gauge progress. If these assignments are not sufficient, I offer complete practice tests against payment. Note: these tests are quite hard and are intended for those who want to achieve particularly well.

Hij heeft ontzettend veel kennis van hoe het lichaam als geheel functioneert en weet die kennis op een duidelijke en begrijpelijke manier uit te leggen, zodat je dit echt kan 'embodyen'. Tijdens de trainingen is er veel aandacht voor details, techniek en een goede focus en fijne sfeer.

Het gaat niet om een standaard gymprogramma, maar een persoonlijke aanpak om beter te leren bewegen, je lichaam beter te begrijpen en je uiteindelijk ook beter te voelen in je lichaam.

Practice tests available, € 5 each (including extensive explanations) Agreements canceled late will be fully charged (at least 3 hours before the start of the tutoring session) If 3 lessons are cancelled too late, the tutoring lessons will stop.
