About Johanna
Hi! I'm Johanna, Dominican by birth and upbringing, and I adore teaching people about my culture and language. I'm English-Spanish bilingual and hold an honors degree in Finance and Accounting. Beyond the textbooks, I've worked with international brands, helped develop innovative solutions, and loved every second of working with people all over the world. One of my greatest passions is travel; I love learning about new places, understanding different cultures, and making connections with people in different environments. This sense of discovery is central to what makes my work teaching Spanish so special. Language is more than words; it's a sense of connection, understanding, and accepting new things. Whether one is learning Spanish for class, travel, or just as a hobby, I am dedicated to offering support every step of the way.
