About Katharine
I'm a recent graduate from Manchester, who's aways had a passion to teach. Throughout school I assisted with tutoring those with additional learning needs, and now have been working in surf schools in Spain teaching surfing to a wide range of ages, which I really enjoy. I would love to continue to bring a greater appreciation of Spanish culture through my teaching whilst helping others to feel more confident in speaking a foreign language.

As a non-native speaker, I understand the challenges with learning a new language and for this reason have built a solid foundation to apply conjugation structures and vocabulary into oral expression. Having lived in different parts of Spain, I also try and include culturally important variations and expressions into my teaching to improve a students understanding of the language and culture whilst improving their written and spoken work which can be applied to any setting, from exams to casual conversations.
