About George
I hold an M.A. in Spanish from the Middlebury College Spanish School in Madrid and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas. I've spent decades traveling throughout Mexico and Cuba, giving me firsthand knowledge of the language and culture beyond the classroom. Combined with 30 years of university teaching and my career as a literary translator, I bring both academic expertise and real-world experience to every lesson.
