About Sandipan

A devoted performer and practitioner of Indian classical music (Hindustani Classical tabla player), was inclined towards music from a very tender age. Being a first generation musician in his family, it was quite a difficult choice for him to opt for Indian classical music as his profession. However, his fervent confidence and great determination prompted him to explore this new path and owning to his rigorous diligence and vigor. About the lesson

Being both Drummer and Tabla player I provide classes for both the subjects. students who are interested in these two subjects are most welcome. For Drums students beside teaching them basic drums lessons (rudiments) and pure stuff notation I also provide graduation course and help them to appear exams from Trinity College London. I teach all Beginner, Intermediate and advance level students. All the classes will be taken on 1:1 basis. I also teach a unique drumming style which is the " Indian Classical Drumming genre" which is now largely popular for Indian fusion music. I provide Indian Classical Rhythmic materials on drums like Konnakols and compositions of tabla on the drums. For tabla students I try my level best to pass on the knowledge of both traditional Farukhabad and Punjab Gharanas style of tabla playing that I have learned from my gurus since my childhood. I teach Beginners, Intermediate and advance level students. All the classes will be taken on 1:1 basis.
