About Alex

Software knowledge is passed down through generations of highly enthusiastic individuals and the great teams they work with. I am very grateful to have surfed the awesome wave of JavaScript hyper progress—and want to help others succeed as well. First and foremost, software needs to run; however, legible and sensible code is extremely important—not just to me, but to the computer science community as a whole. I promise that the software you will learn to write with me will not simply work, but will be easy to comprehend and extend by developers across many skill levels. - Build robust JS/TS based applications for the web (node + frontend)

Alex is a super nerd programmer and excellent explainer, who has a ton of patience for students. We worked together as instructor at a coding bootcamp and I had a great time working with him and collaborating on student mentorship/education.

Alex was the only other instructor who routinely mentored students to build interesting projects that taught them things far outside the curriculum, and that got them great jobs leading to fruitful careers. He finds it impossible to not get enthusiastic and deep when he has students who are eager to learn.

Highly recommended if you want an experienced, patient and deeply knowledgeable person to help you learn how to program and get you ready for a career in software.

Alex has always been able to help explain some of the weirder messy parts of JavaScript that alway gave me problems when I started transitioning into a full stack dev from a purely back end dev.
