About Lillian

I’m a singer, songwriter, and vocal tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Songwriting with Voice as my primary instrument, and I love helping singers unlock their unique sound.

My teaching approach blends vocal technique with modern music technology. We often use DAWs, vocal processors, and studio microphones to experiment with sound and performance.

I specialise in R&B, Soul, Acoustic Pop, and Contemporary Christian music. Our lessons focus on tone shaping, phrasing, harmonies, and bringing meaning to every lyric.

Students also learn creative techniques like vocal looping and building layered vocal arrangements. I work with both hobby singers and aspiring recording artists who want to develop their studio sound. Singing is about expression and storytelling. About the lesson

My teaching style encourages singers to grow both individually and as part of a musical group. We begin with strong vocal foundations such as breath control, pitch stability, and clear tone. These elements create confidence in every singer.

In group sessions, I focus on developing ensemble awareness. Students practise vocal blending, matching vowel sounds, and balancing their voice within the choir. These skills help create a smooth and harmonious group sound.

Part-singing and harmony exercises help singers strengthen their musical independence. I also introduce sight-reading for choral music to improve confidence when learning new repertoire. I guide singers who work in orchestral or crossover styles so they can integrate easily into group singing. The goal is to help every singer contribute meaningfully to the ensemble.
