About Emma
I am a professional director, dramaturg, movement director and actor who has worked with award winning, international artists like Robert Wilson, Liz Lerman, Kristin Hanggi and Teya Sugareva! I have training in Viewpoints, Suzuki, La Ban, Alexander Technique, Meisner and Stanislavsky. I also have dance and vocal training and am happy to work on musical theater, Opera or straight theater.

I connect body and mind and help you connect with a character in safe and fully embodied method. In Audition prep I can go through how to work on a monologue without a scene partner, how to capture the tone of the monologue and create an emotional arc in the monologue. We can also discuss the nuance of preparing for different types of auditions including the criteria for choosing an ideal monologue, prepping for callbacks. As someone who has litteraly had thousands of people audition for my shows and has auditioned for shows with open calls I can show you how to stand out and get the role!
