About LaMecca
I'm a US Coast Guard veteran, a mom, and retired from 27 years in the dental field. I've always sought ways to bridge and connect others who come from varying cultures, classes, regions, and talents. As the oldest of 6 and a Gen Xer, this comes naturally to me. Art, the immersion of and practice have been life-changing for me. As someone who battled with PTSD, I found this outlet to be something just as valuable as medication.

My goal is to meet people where they are, build confidence through educating the individual on what tools they are interacting with and how to wield them in a way that reflects their personal creativity vs dictate what the outcome should be. My classes are relaxed, explorative, and informative. You will walk away knowledgeable, capable, and confident.
