About Isabel
I have 6 years of teaching experience and hold a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages. Throughout my career, I have worked with learners of different ages and backgrounds who wanted to improve Spanish for education, travel, career growth, or personal interest. I enjoy helping students become confident communicators by making language learning both practical and enjoyable.
One professional joined my classes before accepting a position with an international company where Spanish communication was essential. We practiced workplace conversations, presentations, email writing, and listening comprehension through realistic business situations. Within a few months, the learner successfully communicated with international colleagues and adapted confidently to a multilingual work environment.
I believe language learning becomes successful when students feel encouraged to communicate without worrying about perfection. My classroom promotes curiosity, regular practice, and positive reinforcement while creating a welcoming environment where every learner feels comfortable participating. Small improvements are celebrated because they build lasting confidence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring Spanish-speaking cultures through literature, documentaries, and language exchange communities while continuously improving my own teaching methods. These experiences allow me to introduce authentic cultural perspectives into every lesson. Vocabulary develops through topics such as travel, business, education, food, culture, and daily life so learners can immediately apply what they learn. Pronunciation activities strengthen listening skills while improving clarity and speaking confidence.
Interactive role-playing exercises simulate real situations including shopping, interviews, presentations, and social conversations. Reading activities feature authentic articles, stories, and cultural materials that expand vocabulary while improving comprehension. Writing exercises gradually develop sentence construction, descriptive writing, and effective communication through regular guided practice.
Students preparing for school examinations, university courses, DELE certification, international relocation, or workplace communication receive customized preparation with continuous progress evaluations. I carefully review mistakes, explain corrections clearly, and encourage independent thinking throughout every lesson. Each class concludes with personalized revision activities and practical assignments that support long-term language development.
