About Holly
I have spent over ten years helping people find their musical path, and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Music Production with a focus on vocal engineering. This unique background allows me to deliver highly personalized singing lessons to school students, college learners, and working professionals. I specialize in working with creative artists who want to focus on songwriter development and creating original music.
Together, we will dive into lyric writing, melodic construction, and vocal phrasing to give your songs a strong emotional impact. I also teach basic guitar and piano accompaniment so you can comfortably support yourself while performing your own tunes. For instance, I recently coached a college student who had wonderful lyrics but struggled to play the piano while singing at the same time.
We simplified their chord progressions and worked on rhythmic timing, which allowed them to perform their first live showcase with absolute ease. My lessons also build deep musicianship through focused ear training, harmony work, improvisation, and practical music theory. I strongly believe in nurturing your individual voice using safe, healthy vocal techniques in an interactive and supportive environment.

My teaching methodology focuses heavily on helping you discover and enhance your own unique vocal timbre. We will spend our time together exploring essential concepts like vocal resonance, projection, and precise tone shaping. I will also guide you through mastering different vocal qualities, including belting, head voice, and mixed voice.
Whether you are stepping onto the stage for the first time or preparing for a major solo performance, I tailor every lesson to your exact needs. For example, I recently worked with an older beginner who was terrified of singing in front of others because they struggled to control their volume. We practiced gentle breath exercises to improve their projection, and within a few weeks, they were confidently singing their favorite songs with a rich, balanced tone.
I am completely committed to supporting your growth and making sure you feel safe trying new things in our sessions. We will slowly build up your vocal coordination so you can transition between different registers without any strain or discomfort. This step-by-step guidance helps you overcome technical hurdles and allows your true personality to shine through the music.
