About Helen
Hi, I'm Helen!
I am a professional singer and performer, working inside and outside of London, and I love teaching! Singing can be an amazing way of building up self-confidence, whether it's a new hobby, skill, or you're working towards something more professional.
I can teach you how to properly warm-up your voice, and really enjoy singing - it's all about what works for you.
I'm happy to work across different styles - if you want to smash that song you've been hearing on the radio, or rehearse a musical number with expression; there's no set curriculum, and we can always sing whatever you're most interested in!
Here's a bit of background on me...
I've loved singing ever since I was little, and have gradually built up my experience to where I am today.
I started training as a violinist and musician from the age of 7 and as a teenager, I played in a semi-professional youth orchestra and toured Germany and the Czech Republic, and performed in choirs.
After finishing school, I was accepted into the conservatoire East 15 Acting School. Here I trained as an actor musician, learning to apply music to theatre, and perform through song, as well as new styles of singing such as musical theatre, opera and folk.
From there I have worked in a multitude of settings, as a performer in musical productions and opera, as a singer in contemporary gigs, as a composer and performer of my own work and as a musical director.
