Hi Future Musicians! My name is Samkelo Klaas, and I’m so excited to be your music teacher. Music has always been a huge part of my life—not just as something I love, but as something that has helped me grow, express myself, and connect with others. Over the years, I’ve studied, performed, and created music in different styles, and now I get to share everything I’ve learned with you. Why do I teach? Because I truly believe that music has the power to change lives. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or already have experience, I want to help you discover your unique voice and see just how fun and meaningful music can be. I teach because I want to: Help you grow your confidence through creativity Make learning music exciting and relevant to you Create a space where you feel supported, encouraged, and free to make mistakes Show you that music is for everyone—not just the “naturally talented” My lessons are about more than just playing the right notes—they’re about discovering what music means to you.
