About Kevin
Arnold believes students can only grow when they feel safe to mess up. Like any subject, music requires immense detection and practice in order to improve. In hopes of encouraging such growth, Arnold prioritizes creating a safe, patient, and professional environment, one in which students are able to feel comfortable getting answers incorrect. In creating such an atmosphere, students are able to confidently apply themselves, and feel secure in their knowledge. More importantly, students are able to express what confuses them, and from there, are able to grow through Arnold’s guidance.

Kevin Arnold is a musician (tenor) based out of New York City. With multiple years of professional and academic experience, Arnold understands the importance of a strong foundation in music theory and aural training, and is committed to helping his students obtain just that. Arnold’s approach combines both theoretical discussion with applicable exercises, good for kinesthetic and visual learners alike. He has taught a variety of ages, ranging from beginners to graduate students. Arnold strives to cultivate an environment of safety and understanding, while still encouraging students to reach their fullest potential.
