About Monique

After about 15 years of performing and teaching musical theatre I had a realization that the fun had been sucked out of the thing I loved so dearly, so recently I've begun reincorporating that into my own life and I'd love to share that with you if you'll let me.

About the lesson

If you love singing in the shower, the idea of singing has always appealed to you but you don't know where to start, or if you've been singing for a while but don't feel that spark anymore then these lessons are for you!

We will spend the first one getting to know each other, making sure we are a good fit for one another while I gain a better understanding of your goals and experience. Gotta know where we're starting from and heading to on this journey we're going to take together before we depart.

Future lessons could include many things depending on your end goals:
Determining a vocal part
Working together on a song that you want to sing more comfortably
Harmonizing
Singing in front of someone (me) for the first time
Learning how to breathe ;)
Singing duets together
SO MANY OPTIONS!! The possibilities are endless!

My teachings will occasionally touch on music theory as needed, but that will never be the primary focus.

All of our lessons will go at your pace as it is your adventure, thank you for considering me as company!
