About Zhou

你好مرحبا! I am Zhou, but you can also call me Mia. I am a native Chinese speaker majoring in Chinese International Education, with experience teaching beginner adult learners, international students, and children. Patient and friendly teaching is my style, and helping students build confidence in learning Chinese is something I truly enjoy.
My lessons are relaxed, interactive, and designed to make Mandarin learning both effective and enjoyable. Traditional and modern Chinese culture are also included in class to help students better understand the language and its cultural background. Looking forward to helping you start your Chinese learning journey!

About the lesson

Hi！My courses are mainly designed for complete beginners and elementary Chinese learners, while students of other levels are also welcome.
I provide personalized lessons based on each student’s goals, interests, and learning style. In class, I teach Chinese pinyin, pronunciation, grammar, characters, and practical communication skills. I have experience teaching beginner adult learners, international students, and French-Chinese children. My students have given very positive feedback, especially on pronunciation and pinyin training, helping them develop clear and accurate Mandarin pronunciation from the beginning.
Whether you want to learn Chinese for travel, study, work, or personal interest, I will help you learn Chinese in an effective, enjoyable, and supportive way.
