About Staceyjoy

I figured out how to knit as a preteen with a long strand of yarn and my fingers and never looked back. I’ve created knitwear for print ads, movies and a Madonna video. I love to teach and share my deep knowledge of the knit stitch and shaping techniques.

About the lesson

I’m the former owner of Staceyjoy Elkin Knit Development in NYC. I developed unusual stitches and silhouettes for 7th Ave designers such as Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Anne Klein and a whole host of others.
