About Mkhululi
My name is Mkhululi.K.Dukuza I was trained at an institute that had a 'working' manufacturing unit so most of my learning was through immersion and that has influenced the way in which I teach I then worked at a CMT then bridal couture and there after transitioned into the film industry first as a stylist and later as a costume manufacturer/ pattern maker.I have worked on projects like scorpion king 5, on both seasons of raised by wolves, on the woman king,king shaka and am currently back in couture at Gerrit Pienaar as a pattern maker / production supervisor etc . Over the years I have amassed a considerable amount of dressmaking techniques that I wish to share with students.

I have a set sewing and pattern making curriculum that'll get one from novice to a pro once completed however if one just wants to cover a specific topic eg. if you maybe just want to learn how to construct corsets or just trousers I can customize the lessons to suit your specific needs.
I use an apprenticeship style of teaching where "I do&you do" at the same time so one can see how the materials are handled .
