I’m an experienced Italian tutor working with students from beginner to upper-intermediate level. My approach goes beyond memorisation: I help you understand how the language really works, so you can build a strong and lasting foundation.

I hold a DITALS certification from the Università per Stranieri di Siena, obtained after completing a teacher training course in London.

About the lesson

I’ve been teaching Italian as a foreign language to English speakers for over 5 years.

In the past two years, I’ve also designed and delivered tailored Italian courses for international students through a language company, adapting each lesson to individual interests and learning styles.

I have experience preparing students for the CILS B1 Citizenship exam and GCSE Italian, helping them build both confidence and exam skills.

To support your learning, I use Google Drive to share materials, useful resources, and personalised feedback on homework — so our lesson time can focus on communication and real practice.

Based on your goals, I will create a personalised programme that balances speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I also incorporate videos, short films, and cultural content to make lessons engaging, dynamic, and relevant.

Online and in-person lessons have different rates.

I also offer group lessons with a discounted rate per student:
Two students: £27 per student per hour
Three students: £22 per student per hour

Discounted rates are available for pre-paid packages: £1 per hour off for 5 lessons and £2 per hour off for 10 lessons.

Textbooks are optional and not included in the lesson fee.

For exam-focused lessons like GCSEs or citizenship preparation, I usually charge a higher rate due to the additional planning and targeted support required
