About Gary

English has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. It is not only my profession but also one of my greatest passions. For more than 15 years, I have dedicated myself to teaching English to students from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds, helping them improve their communication skills and gain confidence in using the language.

Throughout my teaching career, I have conducted over 21,000 English lessons and worked with learners of various ages and proficiency levels. This extensive experience has allowed me to develop strong teaching skills, patience, adaptability, and a deep understanding of how students learn best.

Beyond teaching, I enjoy maintaining an active lifestyle through running, cycling, swimming, hiking, and long-distance walking. These activities have taught me discipline, perseverance, and goal-setting—qualities that I also encourage in my students. I am also a creative and artistic person who enjoys exploring new ideas, cultures, and experiences.

What I love most about English is its ability to connect people from different parts of the world. It is a global language that allows individuals from diverse cultures and backgrounds to communicate, learn from one another, and build meaningful relationships. Being able to teach this language and help students achieve their goals is both a privilege and a responsibility that I take seriously.

As a teacher, I strive to create a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and growing in confidence. My goal is not only to help students improve their English skills but also to inspire them to become lifelong learners who are confident in their ability to communicate with the world.

About the lesson

Hello! My name is Gary, and I believe that students learn best when they are actively engaged, having fun, and feeling comfortable in the classroom. With more than 15 years of ESL teaching experience and over 21,000 classes taught, I have developed a dynamic and interactive teaching approach that keeps students motivated and excited to learn.

My lessons incorporate a variety of teaching tools and techniques, including realia, flashcards, finger puppets, visual aids, storytelling, role-playing activities, and even the occasional magic trick to capture students' attention and make learning memorable. I use plenty of actions, expressions, humor, and positive encouragement to create an energetic learning environment where students feel confident speaking English.

A typical lesson includes vocabulary development, pronunciation practice, speaking exercises, reading activities, comprehension checks, and conversational practice. Lessons are carefully adapted to the student's age, level, goals, and learning style. If a student has a specific textbook or curriculum, I can effectively teach using those materials while adding engaging activities to reinforce learning.

What sets me apart is my creativity, adaptability, and unique teaching personality. I bring enthusiasm, energy, and a constructive sense of eccentricity to every lesson, making classes both educational and enjoyable. My goal is not only to teach English but also to build confidence and help students develop a genuine love for learning.
