• Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

  When I was in elementary school, my father bought me a computer. I installed an action game, Call of Duty, on the computer. I had pretty much fun at that time. I was so happy to have a computer and a brand-new game. Hell of a first experience!

• What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

  I believe that artificial intelligence will change everything on this planet. We are at the end of the information and technology era and will live in a new era, the data era. It is only a matter of time before artificial intelligence becomes mature enough to completely change our world. I expect that after some time, we will have huge data sets for everything. In the meantime, we would not have reasonable processing time to use those datasets. At that time, the speed of data processing will be most important for us. Speed is the key to the future!

• Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

  I have seven years of professional programming experience in academic, industrial, and commercial organizations. My major is aerospace and mechanical engineering, and my minor is computer science. I am interested in data science and high-performance computing to accelerate our programs.

• Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

  I think everyone has great stories. Everyone has a lot of mistakes and problems. We can learn from other people's mistakes. When the time comes when we are confronted with those mistakes, we know how to deal with them. That is why hearing about the mistakes of other people is so inspiring. Unfortunately, successful role models do not talk much about their mistakes, and most of their focus is mainly on their success and their plans to change the future.

• Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

  Once I remembered that I had a team project that I wanted to submit at the last minute. We only had a few hours to submit our team project. While my teammates were frantically programming, I started telling them funny jokes because I felt that the way we were doing the project was inefficient and it would have had a long runtime, so we would not have been able to submit our results before the deadline. After a while, I came up with a new idea and revised the code to make it more efficient. Eventually, we managed to meet the deadline. As you can imagine, I was just trying to keep up the morale of my teammates until I found the right solution for that time.

• What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

  You know it's OK not to be OK. Call me, and we will figure out how to do it and work out a personal plan for you to overcome this so-called complicated field.

• What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

  I am a fan of action video games, and I am something like the head of a clan in one of the games. I am also a nature lover. I travel to unknown places from time to time and try to communicate with nature. This communication has kept my life in balance.

  The most important thing is my personality and hands-on experience which is reflected in my reviews!
