About Paarsa

Hi! My name is paarsa heidari and im a professional drummer here im San Diego. I have 15 years of drumming experience and im now currently in a successful rock band called Saint Luna. I have played at almost every venue here in San Diego and have taught drums at multiple Guitar Centers. I love working with kids due to my uplifting and motivational personality. I'm also very aware of what its like to take private lessons.

About the lesson

- Went to school for jazz drumming at San Diego State University

Perfect! My son Elliott has always had a talent for drums, but working with Paarsa has turned that spark into an obsession.

Since starting lessons, he practices every week, chooses drums over screen time, and has genuinely gotten so much better. Watching his confidence grow alongside his skills has been rewarding as a Mom :)

Elliott talks about Paarsa not just as a teacher but as a mentor, and you can feel that in how he approaches the instrument now.

If your kid has any interest in drums at all, I can't recommend Paarsa highly enough.


He listens to what music she actually enjoys and builds lessons around that, which makes her want to practice (a huge win as a parent). She's improved so much since starting, and honestly, the transformation has been amazing.

Paarsa is great- i’ve become really good with flow and rhythm after working with him for 6+ months. He is extremely good himself and can drum any song you give him off the fly. Highly recommend!
