About Steph
I am an Australian mezzo-soprano, arts administrator and primary school teacher now based in the UK. I am a classical singer, and work as a soloist and ensemble member across the UK, Europe and in Australia. I have been singing professionally for 10+ years, and have travelled to many exciting places to sing. I am also a primary school teacher, and teach mainstream and classroom music, as well as directing choirs and other ensembles. I have also worked as a voice teacher and coach, and love working with both children and adults to unlock their vocal potential and learn to love singing! I enjoy helping young and developing voices build a strong foundation in technique—focusing on healthy vocal habits, breath control, and musical expression—while keeping lessons engaging and age-appropriate. I have experience in vocal coaching, early years music classes, children’s choirs, primary school classroom teaching. I work to find an individual approach for each student, whilst having some fun! I aim to create a supportive, encouraging space where students can grow in confidence and skill, and develop their love for singing.

My lessons are fun and relaxed - singing is about enjoyment and self-discovery. I would usually begin with some warm-up exercises to build technique, and then move onto repertoire. We can adapt this depending on your needs/age/ambition. I can suggest repertoire, or you could come with some pieces you’d love to work on. The world is your oyster!
