About Runze
I graduated from University of Waterloo with a degree in Geography and Aviation and a minor degree in Korean Language Proficiency. I am currently working as a flight instructor in Langley Flying School in British Columbia teaching pilot students to fly airplanes. I used to work for City of Coquitlam as a Swimming Instructor and Lifeguard teaching kids how to swim. Teaching Chinese is my part time job and also a personal interest. I been teaching Chinese for one year online through another platform.

I have been learning Korean for 3 years. As a language learner myself, I know the interest and struggles that new language learners or old language learners face. For example, I really did not like the fact my Korean teacher in University kept talking in English. I do not think teach any foreign language through English is the most effective method. During my lessons, I will speak as much Chinese as possible and only use English when the student really can not understand. Finally, I believe the best learning of anything not just language is through interest of the student and the affection between the student and the teacher. I will always try to keep you entertained during the lesson instead of going sternly by the book. If you like Chinese, Chinese culture and have a strong will to learn, Let us have some fun together!
