About Lance
I graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Architecture degree and achieved 80% for my final year design dissertation.
I have many years of professional work experience in the United Kingdom and South Africa. I have worked for large corporate offices and have also run a small practice for many years.
I have experience in designing and implementing high-end residential, offices, fast food outlets, airport retail, supermarkets, shopping malls, student accommodation, and warehousing.
I would like to share what I have learned with a younger generation which will also empower them to be more confident in professional settings.
I can teach foreign students online and procured my TEFL in June 2020 with a 90% final assessment from i-to-i in the United Kingdom.

My lessons are structured to enable students with a basic knowledge of English to master professional vocabulary, spelling, and grammar in order to start feeling confident in a professional office, be that of engineers, architects, quantity surveyors, or others.
A typical lesson would be reviewing what happens at an inspection of a construction site with the builder and other professionals (talking) and then compiling the snagging and report afterwards (vocabulary, spelling and grammar).
The lessons can be structured in a way to suit the student's existing command of English with subsequent lessons building on the myriad of technical and legal terms needed to write minutes of meetings or reports.
