About Marco
I have completed my BA and MA in Renaissance - Baroque Music Repertoire at the Conservatorio di Verona “E. F. Dall’Abaco” in 201 with Cristina Miatello, Vincenzo Di Donato and Maria Grazyna Sokolinska. I have studied Vocal Performances at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow with Iain Patton and Kathleen McKellar Ferguson.
I have sung in many concerts and operas around Europe as a soloist and also in little vocal ensembles. I am a specialist in Baroque and Opera Repertoire, I have a long experience in tutoring pupils from the beginning stage to a professional stage.
I am interested as well in musicological and historical researches on Venetian composers of the eighteenth-century and their works as Benedetto Marcello and Domenico Zanatta. I am the author of seven musical publications which are used by academic institutions and they can be found in many libraries around the globe.
I have been also a tutor at the University of Strathclyde (Glasgow) in Italian.
I am able to teach: opera sing (all levels, professional-level included), history, history of music, it, Italian for foreigners (all levels).

I am open to accepting every student willing to learn how to sing baroque opera or pupils that need a vocal coach to improve their own vocal abilities at a professional stage.
The first lesson for me will be a lesson n. 0 where I will ask new students to bring an easy piece of baroque music (aria, song) with recitative, that will enable me to understand the characteristics of the voice and the stage of the vocal technique. We will focus on literature and practise of recitative and the art of baroque technique.
I could be really helpful for young professionals and also countertenors!
Due to current restrictions, I can offer just online lessons.
The Voice is a unique instrument that is subjected to numerous variants of the morphology of the body (mouth, jaw, muscles), so, every student will be subjected to a different approach. In the lessons, you will do physical exercises, vocal exercises, learn arias and recitativos, learn different styles, learn to read music, learn to enjoy making music!
