About Jay

I’m a professional actor with 15 years of experience, including feature films that are currently airing on Netflix and Amazon Prime. I want to share my insights into the industry and help people learn in weeks what took me years.

About the lesson

Whether it be acting in theatre, commercials, film, or television, or even becoming more comfortable with public speaking, I can help. Hi, I’m Jay. I have spent my whole life acting in theatre, commercials, television, and film. I’ve more or less dedicated my life to the practice, the craft, the technique, and the art. I didn’t know a single soul in the industry when I embarked upon the journey and I did it all the hard way - I wish I hadn’t. I wish I’d known somebody who could take me through the whole process personally and told me what works and what doesn’t; what headshots to get; how to get an agent; how to prepare for auditions; and how to get the roles. Over the last couple of years I’ve gained added insight into the process; I've been developing a feature film adaptation of a popular video game and have gained contacts in Hollywood who have helped me get my film in front of established executives. I run a production company and am regularly involved the other side of the camera, directing, producing, and even casting. Now I know more than ever what people are looking for. I’d love to share with you what I’ve learned and help you prepare for auditions and roles, or even just learn how to be more comfortable in front of an audience. Let’s get you the part!

It's a common misconception acting is just for screen and theatre, but this is not the case.
