About Lena
My name is Lena and for as long as I can remember I have been working in the creative fields of design, fashion, music and art.
I spent many years building my own company, which manufactured products such as lamps, tables, and home accessories. There, I designed numerous products that continue to sell successfully to this day. I also handled the marketing and packaging of our products and supervised production in the workshops. I also supervised several interns, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We designed for companies such as Ikea, Koziol, and Camper. The company still exists, but I left and sold my shares because I wanted to live more freely and be less dependent on a particular location.
I completed a Bachelor's degree in Product Design at the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland and a Master's degree in Design at the Cologne International School of Design, including a one-year semester abroad at the École nationale supérieure de création industrielle in Paris.
I then worked for Droog Design in Amsterdam, which was one of the rising stars of the interior design scene at the time. My job was to research production methods for designs by Gijs Bakker. After that, I moved to Berlin and, as described above, set up the llot llov Art Workshop together with friends.
Since around 2015, I've been working freelance on interior design projects for private individuals and companies, primarily for office spaces and private vacation homes.
I am currently working as a student advisor and lecturer at a private university in Berlin.
Now that I'm older, I'd rather work more remotely because I enjoy traveling and have friends in many countries.
