After high school I studied acting in England for three years then I came back to Italy to study linguistics in Bologna and have been grovelling with the idea of sharing my english with people ever since. It's not a language, it's a nowaday's must.

In order to learn a language, the first step is speaking it and in order to speak you must have something to talk about. Listening to student's omterests is essential to create a common ground where to dig ourself into a real conversation. This is for me foundamental, not only to strengthens the vocabulary knowledge and the rules of sentence construction, but above all provides him with the necessary tranquility to confront him/herself with an active dialogue. All my previous students knew English better than they thought and, while learning ability actually changes with age, breaking down the mental barriers that preclude the famous "fluent English" is something that can be done at any time.
