About Jemma
*PRIVATE TUTOR WITH EXPERIENCE* I offer private tutoring from my home classroom in Hucclecote, either individually or in groups of up to six children. I specialise in KS1, KS2 and 11+ entrance examinations. I also have experience in Early Years. I have been tutoring for over 16 years and currently work in primary education. I have experience working with SEN and adapt sessions to suit the individual child. Every child has a unique learning style and our lessons reflect this. References and feedback can be provided if required, from both parents and students. I strongly believe in helping children develop as a whole, and I strive to help students have confidence in themselves and to make sure their emotional well-being is catered for too. Many of my students and parents remain in contact after we finish our course of tutoring, and I will always offer support where I can for students and their families. - All equipment and resources included - Regular feedback for Parents/Carers - Tailored to your Child/Children - Enhanced DBS - First Aid for Children Certificate - Safeguarding qualified - Life Coaching trained - Continuing Professional Development provided by my school & my own research

I have used Jemma for two of my children for private tutoring for the 11+.
The first time was in 2018 when my eldest daughter decided that she wanted to the 11+. Jemma was kind and supportive and after a few sessions was very honest and advised that she was too far behind with her school learning and did we want to continue. I 100% appreciated her honesty and my daughter decided not to do the 11+.
When my youngest decided he wanted to do the 11+ in December 2021 I had no doubts about who I would approach as a tutor.
Jemma is calm, patient and instills confidence in the child. She is always available for support and questions and gives frequent updates on progress and which areas need more focus.
