With over 20 years of international interior design and architectural experience, I bring this practical understanding into my teaching, helping you learn not only which tools to use, but also why they matter in a real design workflow. SketchUp Lesson Overview:
1. SketchUp foundations and navigation
Build confidence with the interface, drawing tools, measurements, camera controls and essential modelling techniques.

2. 3D modelling for interior design
Learn to create walls, floors, furniture and interior elements using accurate dimensions and an efficient modelling workflow.

3. Groups, Components and model organisation
Understand how to structure your model properly, avoid geometry sticking together, and use the Outliner and Tags to manage objects and visibility.

4. Materials, styles and visual presentation
Apply materials, adjust visual styles, manage shadows and improve the clarity of your design views.

5. Scenes and camera views
Create useful plans, elevations and perspectives. Learn how Scenes work and how to control the elements displayed in different views.

6. LayOut and professional presentation
Learn how to bring your SketchUp model into LayOut, arrange viewports, set drawing scales, add dimensions and annotations, create a clear presentation sheet and export your work as a PDF.
