About Henrique
I have a 5th degree (equivalent to middle school) in Classical music, which allows me to have enough knowledge to teach music theory and instrument classes up to the equivalent of the 5th degree. In jazz I have completed the 3rd year and the soul project that has been following my entire musical journey.

My musical career began when I was only 7 years old when I entered the Escola Metropolitana de Lisboa to study piano. The following year, I tried saxophone, but continued on piano at the Linda-a-Velha Music School. In 1st grade I applied to the Escola de Música Conservatório de Lisboa in piano and saxophone, I was only accepted for saxophone and that's when my journey in saxophone began. I studied classical saxophone in high school, the following year I dedicated myself to a soul project and finally joined the Hot Clube de Portugal to study jazz. The classes would have a format similar to those presented to me by my two great teachers. A first part to present the work done since the last class and a second part to improve some technical details (in the case of Classical music) and improvisation techniques (in the case of Jazz music).
