About António
I give double bass lessons through the application of classical Frank Simandl methodology and jazz musicians such as Ray Brown, Paul Chambers, Dave Holland, among others. In the field of ear training my learning was mainly through musicians and teachers Afonso Pais and João Moreira, based on oral tradition and ear-based analysis.

I am a bass player and bass player with a degree in Jazz from the Superior School of Music of Lisbon, with a degree from the National Conservatory and the National Conservatory of Paris. I have several musical projects, of which active Cassete Pirata, Samuel Úria, Dead Combo, LA New Mainstream. I went through groups like Jazz Orchestra of Hot Clube de Portugal, Joana Amendoeira, Ala dos Namorados, among others.
