Online Coaching For The Actor

Michael has studied Sanford Meisner’s technique extensively in NYC with William Esper, Maggie Flanigan and Phil Gushee. He also taught the work for 8 years at his own studio in Manhattan. During his early years he worked in over 100 Off and Off Off Broadway plays including playing Charlie Malloy in “On The Waterfront” on Broadway in 1995. He is a lifetime member of “The Actors Studio”.

Since the mid 90’s Michael has starred in a wide variety of television and film projects . His film credits include roles in “A Star Is Born” with Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga, “Erin Brockovich” with Julia Robert’s and Albert Finney, “The Banker” with Sam Jackson and the upcoming “Iron Claw” with Zack Efron to name a few . On television, cable and streaming some of the roles Michael has played are Sam Healy on “Orange Is The New Black”, General Hugh Valentine on “Project Blue Book”, Steve Geraci on “True Detective / Season One”, Steve Fields on “Deadwood”, Mitch Ouellette on “Weeds” and Detective Mike Roberts on “NYPD Blue”. He is currently appearing as Sal in “Hello Tomorrow” on Apple TV and as Chief Walden on the upcoming series “Interior Chinatown” on FOX.
